Jason Karamo leads the firm's sales and marketing divisions and coordinates compliance audits for business entities operating under Amendment 64. Prior to joining Consultus Global as its VP of Sales and Marketing, Jason Karamo worked in sales for more than twenty years where his experience spans several industries including industrial chemical sales, financial services, executive security and agribusinesses.
In industrial chemical sales Jason worked closely with plant managers and purchasers to provide reliably sourced, competitively priced wholesale products. Clients and colleagues alike took note of his ability to remain responsive, flexible and reliable in a market known for its volatility.
At Commercial Capital Consultants, Jason helped secure six figure loans and lines of credit for entrepreneurs and small businesses. He conducted consultations with business owners and executives, helped to identify their needs and matched those needs with appropriate funding sources. Eventually he began working with the company’s advertising branch, Unlock Media, where he helped to develop sales and marketing content based largely on the successful sales tactics and techniques he perfected.
In South Florida, Jason helped to market the services of a private security company to high net worth individuals seeking to ensure the safety of their families and homes. In this capacity he was responsible for coordinating consultations between seasoned security professionals and clients as well as selling high-end security systems and executive protection products and plans.
One of the secrets to Jason’s success in industrial sales was his tenure with Caterpillar in Texas where he learned plant operations and the assembly of commercial equipment including diesel engines and radiators. The insights and expertise gained at the plant level helped him to develop the relationships and the rapport necessary to better understand both the businesses and the business persons he encountered as clients.
Known as a highly empathetic sales professional, Jason consistently prioritizes his client’s bottom line over his own. Ever-altruistic he commonly states, his client’s bottom line is his own. Notwithstanding, throughout his career he has consistently been a top earner based on his stellar performance in sales and marketing.
In his spare time Jason enjoys the culinary arts - specifically Soul Food and Caribbean Cuisine. He is a mixed media Artist who specializes in using cardboard, paper, plastic and metals to create hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind scratch build models and sculptures. From time to time his art work will be featured on the company’s blog. He attended Wayne County Community College District in Southeastern Michigan and his eclectic academic interests include everything from Psychology to Metaphysics. He is currently working on a Sci-Fi/Fantasy graphic novella.
