Founder & President

Mr. Issa Israel is Founder and President of Consultus Global. ​The Consultus Global brand stemmed not only from his entrepreneurial spirit but also from a genuine desire to build cooperative business models that could be adopted and utilized to economically empower families and communities who seek to create for themselves a greater degree of economic self-sufficiency. 

As a Business Consultant and Entrepreneur, Issa has helped develop numerous small and medium size enterprises ("SME") throughout the United States, Asia and the Caribbean and has led external affairs and corporate compliance programs for organizations operating within highly regulated fields. Issa's strategies as a consultant have facilitated negotiations around the sale of multi-million dollar enterprises and have successfully guided business leaders through murky administrative and regulatory processes, including the threat of licensing suspensions and revocations.

As a Legal Consultant and Attorney, Issa has helped a wide range of clientele across administrative, business and civil matters. Much of his focus of late has been on helping to secure the intellectual property rights of online content creators and representing entrepreneurs and combat sports athletes in contractual negotiations and administrative proceedings. Working collaboratively with eDiscovery teams review teams, Issa has assisted some of the largest financial institutions in the country through internal investigations and complex litigation before the DOJ, OCC, FINRA and State Courts.   

As a Media Consultant and Writer, Issa has helped to frame issues for both private and public sector actors. An area of particular concern has been the portrayal of minorities in television programming which he feels has a powerful impact on families and communities. Issa's work in this area is often aimed at helping content creators and publishers avoid destructive stereotypes and problematic tropes in their efforts to promote diversity and inclusion.
  
Issa holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan Dearborn in Political Science and a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. His work in Consumer Finance earned him certifications and licenses in Financial and Credit Counseling, Internal Auditing and Debt Management. As an Adjunct Professor he taught courses in Political Science and Career & Professional Development.    

Issa currently lives between the United States and The Bahamas with his Partner and four children - Amad, Micah, Mayah and Aliyah. When he's not working he can be found writing essays and poetry, ethically hunting and advocating for the rights of indigenous peoples globally.
