Our team at Consultus has a strong belief that the only way to have a world worth being proud of and truly believing in is to help build it ourselves. As the first firm to incorporate advocacy into our business plan we do so aware that an issue must first be identified before it can be resolved. In some jurisdictions we have observed that a lack of infrastructure as it relates to certain areas has made it more difficult to maintain an environment that's conducive to social progress and economic growth. Advocating for key changes, some of which are outlined below, requires not just advocacy but working closely with all interested parties including communities, corporations and governmental bodies to develop and introduce forward thinking solutions. 

Consumer Financial Bureaus

Given our rich history in debt management, credit counseling, consumer financial advocacy and technology, our team at Consultus has identified that one of the key drivers for economic development is access to capital and credit. We are able to help governmental bodies develop the legislative, regulatory and technological framework to protect both consumers and lenders by developing and introducing credit and consumer financial bureaus. 

Digital Technologies 

Our team at Consultus is eager to help local, regional and national bodies develop and incorporate a wide range of digital technologies related to cyber security, digital voting and mobile application development. 

Controlled & Restricted Substances 

Another key challenge that Consultus continues to take on is the hurdles presented by controlled & restricted substance policies. Consultus has been on a front line in some of the first markets to introduce legislation and policies that relaxed certain controlled substances. We are able to help business, organizations and communities advocate through impactful action plans and we are able to assist governmental bodies develop the legislative, regulatory and administrative framework to introduce responsible policies and practices.
